Should I be worried...

that my son just pulled himself up to standing using a pile of  laundry. Or that I have a pile of laundry that is big enough (and sturdy enough) for him to pull himself up on.

Neither :) Gotta let the laundry pile get high to keep your sanity and that's so cool the little man is doing/discovering things on his own. Sounds like a strong fella! Now's the time you'll really be getting some exercise, trying to keep and eye on him. Congrats on the growing fella - nice work!

oh my god! he must be freaking you out a little ;) growing up so fast.

Well, my sister walked at 9 months and talked at 12 months. I was the opposite, talking at 9 months and walking at 12 months (this should surprise NO ONE who knows me that I would rather run my mouth than take a walk!) Be prepared for anything.

LOL...Sarah was running at 9 mos(literally) and Katy is doing that same thing too...
can you imagine them...toddling at Christmas together...so stinky cute!

Oh, did you buy those running shoes? Might want to break 'em in~!

Ohh, and my laundry is always like that....

heehee...i love the worried because of the pile of laundry, i am staring at three piles right now, darks, lights and twins....and i am blogging instead of folding. owen started pulling to stand last week and i have a feeling he wants to get on with it and walk stat. at 6.5 months. no rest for the weary.

Seeing as I just washed two shopping carts full of clothes yesterday I can hardly tell you anything about yours =)Besides he may never have pulled up if you didn't have the fore thought to have something for him to hold onto.

if it weren't for the pile of laundry, how would he be standing otherwise? so no, you should not be worried.

btw, totally off topic, but i signed on to xanga for the first time in probably over a year to comment on someone's post and started to poke around everyone's old xangas. came across this post, the first post i ever commented on:

kinda made me reminiscent of old times a little.

Oh, Xanga.... I have a special place in my heart for you. My first blog home.

LOL! My daughter has done that before too. Sometimes laundry loads can just sneak up on ya! ;o)
