30 Days :: 21

We had errands that took us on the bus today. The buses in France have designated areas for strollers. There is a little strapontin that folds out so that the handler of the stroller can have a seat too. I love sitting next to Maximilien and watching his face as he looks out the window. His eyes aglow with wonderment. He also interacts with people on the bus now. Sometimes he reaches out and hold someone's hand who is standing close by or he will flirt with his little coquin smile. Today, he was in a very tranquil mood.
Awwww, so cute. This is a wonderful portrait, so intimate we can't help but try to imagine his thoughts.

That's great about the bus having a stroller section. We don't have that here. I actually had to force someone on the bus once when I was about 8 months pregnant, so they could give me their seat on a packed bus! No one wanted to get up.

What a fantastic photo... I've been enjoying following your blog and seeing your munchkin continue to grow. Thanks for also adding your native Parisian feel. I would LOVE to live there! (But that might just be a Washington State perspective...) Keep it up!

So cute! My son always gets what I call "grocery store eyes" whenever we go out. Kind of bug-eyed and crossed at the same time! Total information overload.

you're so lucky that you don't have to take him out of the stroller on the bus. that's one of those stupid things about NYC buses.. and why i don't them that often.
