I read your blog now for quite a while and inspired by you I even start knitting (it's quite hard, if you do not have anybody around who knits but I am slowly coming to it!)
I just want to wish you a great day today, looooots of guests - I would love being in Paris today!
Have a nice and smiling day today! :-D

Nicola

Oh A, Good luck!!! It is probably about lunch time there now - a busy time and I'm sure everything is going great! Let us know how it went :)

I've read your blog for a long time, but have never commented (I guess that means I'm "de-lurking" now?) Anyways, I think what you're doing is amazing and inspirational. It takes a strong woman to reach for her dreams and make them a reality and you are doing just that. Congratulations - I hope your first day is magnifique!!!

yaiAnn

You'll rock their Parisian socks off!

I knew it, I knew it, I was sure it was going to be this one ! Been there a couple of times (though not in the last year) and I enjoyed it each time... I definitely need to stop by. Wishing you the BEST OF LUCK for your first day =)

Jennie

Aimee, congratulations. I know where I am headed the first thing when I come to Paris next. Good luck on what looks to be a very successful venture!

materfamilias

It'll be great -- I know you'll create the same atmosphere there as you've managed on your blog and that's kept me coming back for a couple of years now. Have fun!

EW

Oh, I wish I WAS in Paris!! I'm jealous! :) Wishing you the best of luck! your shop will be great!!!!

Knit in Denmark

Je te dis BRAVO et FELICITATION! That is just wonderful news for you and your family. I'm been following your blog for a while and can't wait to see your café dans les rues parisiennes. I've lived in Paris for 4 years but have now returned to Denmark where I come from, but I still have many friends in Paris and I will definitely be sending them to your café. Once again congratulations :) /Nina

anne

Anna

Bonne chance! I would have dropped by if I was around... make sure to keep us updated on here

New-Yorkaise - Parisienne

Aimee, I just read Lisa's tribute to your first day at L'Oisive Thé. First of all, I love the name of the salon de thé. Lisa's photos really capture the essence of your dream: your hand sewn tablecloths, the lovely menu, the tea and the smile on your face! You are indeed glowing. I can't wait to stop by and visit on my next trip to Paris. It would be fun to meet Lisa for lunch and meet you in person.

Your dream is touching so many of us all around the blogosphere! I can just imagine the tea, the knitting and the WiFi. All of your writer fans will want to camp out for hours with their Moleskines! What kind of music did you decide to play? An eclectic mix?

You GO, girl!!! :)

Third Culture Mamma

Good luck!!!

Stella

AIMEE!! I wish I could be there to see your cafe! I miss you!

Melissa

You'll be on my list of things to see when we go to Paris next.
All the best!

Melanie

wish I'd remembered to visit your blog this morning to wish you luck.

I've just seen your pictures on flickr and I'm thrilled it all went well
