Butterflies
I've got them. Big time. I feel like it's the first day of school or something. You know how you lay out your outfit for the first day of school. Well, I did the exact same thing. Threadless tee. Black skirt. Haven't decided on the shoes yet but I'll probably wear my old standard Converse All Stars.
The café fridge is packed. We have two of the three shipments of tea. We have good coffee. I'm going to make a mini fondant au chocolat this morning. I think we're ready to go...
I'll be twittering today from my cell phone as we do not have Internet.... yet.
Have a good day, everyone! And if you're in Paris, stop by and say hi and stay a while. :)
I read your blog now for quite a while and inspired by you I even start knitting (it's quite hard, if you do not have anybody around who knits but I am slowly coming to it!)
I just want to wish you a great day today, looooots of guests - I would love being in Paris today!
Have a nice and smiling day today! :-D

I've read your blog for a long time, but have never commented (I guess that means I'm "de-lurking" now?) Anyways, I think what you're doing is amazing and inspirational. It takes a strong woman to reach for her dreams and make them a reality and you are doing just that. Congratulations - I hope your first day is magnifique!!!

Aimee, congratulations. I know where I am headed the first thing when I come to Paris next. Good luck on what looks to be a very successful venture!

It'll be great -- I know you'll create the same atmosphere there as you've managed on your blog and that's kept me coming back for a couple of years now. Have fun!

Je te dis BRAVO et FELICITATION! That is just wonderful news for you and your family. I'm been following your blog for a while and can't wait to see your café dans les rues parisiennes. I've lived in Paris for 4 years but have now returned to Denmark where I come from, but I still have many friends in Paris and I will definitely be sending them to your café. Once again congratulations :) /Nina

Aimee, I just read Lisa's tribute to your first day at L'Oisive Thé. First of all, I love the name of the salon de thé. Lisa's photos really capture the essence of your dream: your hand sewn tablecloths, the lovely menu, the tea and the smile on your face! You are indeed glowing. I can't wait to stop by and visit on my next trip to Paris. It would be fun to meet Lisa for lunch and meet you in person.
Your dream is touching so many of us all around the blogosphere! I can just imagine the tea, the knitting and the WiFi. All of your writer fans will want to camp out for hours with their Moleskines! What kind of music did you decide to play? An eclectic mix?
You GO, girl!!! :)
