I've been sitting here for a while watching an old episode of Star Trek, you know the one where they are stuck in that time loop and keep experiencing the same day over and over again which ironically reflects what I've been feeling day in and day out for the past two months. So I show you this:
And just tonight I am pretty sure that I felt the baby move for the first time. I'm at 9 weeks, so it's possible. I know it's a bit early to be announcing it to the whole Internet and all but I figure through the good and the bad it will be nice to be able to write about it openly.
Right now the bad? All day violent nausea. Where with Maximilien my daily barf average was around one or so... with this baby, I've had to tubs in each room and carry plastic bags with me in my handbag. Car trips have been put off completely. And laying down as much as I can a daily requirement. Where as with Max greasy cheeseburgers from McDo were the trick. With this baby... nothing does the trick. So, for the past two months I've been continuously nauseous and hungry.
The good? We are over the moon to be going on this baby adventure again.
Differences do far? Working and being pregnant. I'll write more on this later... if you'll excuse me, I have a very pressing matter to attend to...

Congratulations, Aimee!!!!! To you and your wonderful family, here and in the US and Korea. You are so lovely!

Hurray! Aimee, I am so so so happy for you! I look forward to hearing about this new chapter in your lives. Just so you know, going from 1 to 2 imo is harder, but you get used to it faster than going from none to 1. If that makes sense. but then again thaya was only 16 months when brie came along so it may be a little different

Oh wow.... So happy for you, but sorry that things haven't been so great on the pregnancy front!! Hopefully it'll be over soon and you will be feeling the good hormones again.

Félicitations!
I am sure that everyone will be offering tips and tricks... so who am I to abstain? For me, the cure was ginger. The best mechanism that I found for this was ginger beer (non-alcoholic soda) or Blenheims. Obviously Blenheims is going to be a bit difficult, but I seem to remember seeing a good assortment of ginger snacks in Paris. I think that fennel is supposed to be good too, but I seem to remember that too much licorice is to be avoided.

Congratulations!!!!! I never really had nausea with Gab, but with the girls, it was 3-4 months of sickness. With Alice, I developed an aversion to coffee and couldn't find anything to please my taste buds and hated McDonalds as well- maybe it's a girl?!

I am with Gleek. You are totally having a little baby girl. My sisters last two pregnancies (both girls) were ten times harder than her first baby, my nephew. I'm going to start shopping for pink things... (erm, unless you hate pink).

Yay! Now we can talk about it! Here's hoping I won't be too far behind you (and hopefully not as sick, but if I get pregnant I'll take what I get).
